On Monday, June 25th, during the French Prime Minister’s visit to China, ENGIE China signed a MoU in Beijing with TUS Holdings, to work together to develop renewables and smart energy services. The signature took place in the presence of Mrs. Elisabeth BORNE, French Minister for Transport and Mrs. Delphine GENY-STEPHANN, French Secretary of State, attached to the Minister of Economy and Finance.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Didier HOLLEAUX, Executive Vice President of ENGIE Group, and Mr. Dong ZHAO, Senior Vice President of TUS Holdings.

In the framework of this MoU, the cooperation between ENGIE China and TUS Holdings intends to cover the following two sectors of clean energy:

  • Large-scale renewable assets.
  • Smart energy solutions for industrial and science parks owned by TUS Holdings.

The MoU signed with TUS Holdings demonstrates the ambition of ENGIE to be leader of the energy transition in the world, expanding its presence and investment in China through enhancing partnerships with local partners to combine its specialty, technological capacities and experience with local players’ influence and market insight.
